[Symptoms] The plants are elongated, with only leaves without curds, or the plants have unintentional single leaves upwelling during the seedling and planting stages.
Why does cauliflower have unintentional plants?
【Cause】
①Insects, cures diseases, and fertilizes carelessly, especially applying chemical fertilizers and pesticides with strong chlorine irritation to the growth point of the flower bulb;
②Plutella xylostella, small locusts and other pests eat the growth points;
③Severe frost damage and frostbite at the growth point will occur during snowfall during the flower bulb formation period;
④When the spring cauliflower encounters extreme low temperature and lack of trace element boron in the seedling and growth period, the plant becomes irregular and unintentionally elongated.

How to prevent it?
① Avoid using highly irritating chemical fertilizers and pesticides during the formation of the flower bulb;
②Fold the leaves to cover the curd when spraying and fertilizing;
③Insulation and antifreeze are required in snowy and icy weather;
④ Maintain proper temperature during spring sowing and seedlings, cover with mulch for planting and increase boron fertilizer.
⑤ Unintentional plants can be plucked out.
